Cool application but somewhat complicated to get around with. Theres a lot of actions that you can do, you just dont know how to use them. Got to play around with it I guess...Its O.K.

Hard to use, a lot of setup involved with this app. Doesnt really show tests, or assignments and when they are due at all, at least that I could see. Great concept, but not really there yet. Stick With iCal for now.

Its a great app. Yes, it is a little complicated, but when you pay for an application you get to customize every feature. It keeps track of my grades, my homeowkr, my tests, and everything in between. The best thing to do is take an hour out of your time when you first get the app and put in all the important events right away, I have my whole school year in there right now.

I browsed through a bunch of school apps to get organized before school starts. I got iStudiez Pro, iProcrastinate, and obviously Schoolhouse. When I saw the previews for Schoolhouse, I was excited because it looked simple and straight forward. I read the reviews about there being lots to set up but thats normal for any app that you can customize so much so I understood that. What I didnt understand is why it was so unstable on my computer. I added one course, changed the name, and tried to change other things about the course like the colour and the entire app either closed on me or wouldnt let me press the "OK" button after I chose my colour. Im still looking for a great app for school. Maybe with some changes and more stability, this one could be it. Until then, 2 stars for its potential.

Im setting up my courses and calendar, the program continuously crashes. It is compatible with Lion, but crashes ALL THE TIME. If this doesnt get fixed asap it will be a wasted $5. Apart from that, its got a lot of potential

I dont understand what others are saying… Obviously you need to take maybe 20 minutes to put in your course etc, but its all common sense. Easy to use, keeps me up to day with everything, can tell what percent u are getting in a class because it can weight different percentages. Great App, easy to use, and does all that I need it to do plus more. If your looking at an app to keep you organized and alert you when subjects are due, this is the app for you.

The app seems to have an issue in printing my courses. Its a bit annoying since the print is active but it wont show up...

It seems that this current version has a glitch when displaying the courses. On the left side there seems to be some text overlapping on top of the course names.

Not only did I pay another $5 for an app I already bought a $15 license for (why you would price and distribute it in this way is beyond me) in order to have the latest version, but now I see that it doesnt even have the Backup and Restore options, whereas versions 3.2.3 and 3.2.1 do. This makes the App Store version of the app useless to me, so I just wasted $5 — I wouldnt have bothered if I had known, since naturally I thought the newest version would be better, not worse. I wouldnt be so upset about this if I hadnt already bought a license for it.

I only just purchased this application, but it crashes every time I go to configure the weighted grading for each course. Its a really good app, but the issues with it are too frustrating for me to rely on it. If the next version is better with Lion Ill use, but until then i need something else. Something more stable.

I used to love this app, but I just redownloaded on my MacBook Air and I can’t even add a course - it crashes every time!!

Macbook pro 9,2 running 10.11.6. No bug fixes since 2011? This is a dead app that does not seem to be curated, no bug fixes. This app crashes EVERYTIME I attempt to edit a course to add grade weighting or course schedule! Restarting reveals that none of the changes were saved from before the crash. Basically this is a useless app, unless you want a cumbersone todo checklist (there are pleanty of apps out there that are much better at that). Wasted money purcahsing this, unfortunate, because the free version I used a long time ago was great enough for me to want to support the author and publishers so I bit. Been waiting since 2011 (five years and no fix - had same crashes since Lion. Snow Leopard was the last time I remembered it working and it was an earlier vers with more functions (teacher contact, back up etc). Dead, non-running apps like this should be pruned out of the app store out of cconsideration for your loyal customers apple!

This App contains everything a high school student would need - grade percentage calculation, optional annoying reminders, even a little web browser built in so I can check assignment details without leaving the app. Worth the price! I would like to see a menu bar button instead of needing to program a universal command to add an assignment (similar to iHomework), but thats fine. Attaching files is also wonderful! I would also like to see a designated instructor section, designated reading/textbook section, and granular task control (Draft 1, Draft 2, Draft 25) in a future update.

So being a college student, I really enjoy this application. The only thing I wish is that it this app was available on iPad and iPhone devices. Having my iPad which I usually carry to class more often than my laptop, it would be more beneficial to have it on multiple devices that can sync to each other, like how the MobileMe system is. I hope that this can be developed in the near future, I think it would be beneficial to lots of students especially those in college.

I installed this app on 8/16 and it worked fine for one day. Since then, Schoolhouse has crashed repeatedly. Ive written to support and am still awaiting a response.

I had to wait for the upgrade for Lion, but Schoolhouse wont even open now before it crashes. Ive emailed the developer, but I still havent heard back. I love the program, but 2 weeks into the semester and I may have to go somewhere else if this doesnt get fixed soon. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I bought this app last January and used it successfully for my first semester of college. Since the recent update, Ive been unable to open it at all, this is the start of the semester and find it increasingly annoying that I can use it. Overall this WAS a good app. I too would like to see a few features added in the future - Instructor information area, sync with mobile devices and integration with iCal so I can keep everything on one calendar. Please fix the crashing issue and add a few features and it will be a five star app.

The website browser sometimes needs refreshing, and website compatability issues promt a suggestive browser screen. Is there keyboard shortcuts available? I would like to add tasks from my i4 if possible, is there any development in the future for a iPhone or iPad app? It would be awesome to have a audio recoding feature for the app for on the go from my mobile devices. Thanks for already making my student career more organized! I hope to see more in the future.

I love this app! It really helps me keep track of assignments and to get them done on time. I would love to see the ability to color code individual assignments! This application crashes everytime I try to edit a course. Please fix this problem.

Schoolhouse is an alright for tracking all of your assignments on one computer. However there seems to be no communication with the developer. I have email twice on matters of compatability and cross platform syncing with no reply. If you plan on using this on only one computer its great. If you are looking to use this on multiple devices then pass. Will change review once dev makes excell compatability.
